Church Clean/Work Day While we will not have an established date, there are several cleaning tasks to be done both inside and outside of the church to prepare for Holy Week and Easter services. If you wish to assist with cleaning tasks, contact Pastor.

Midweek Lent Worship You are invited and encouraged to join us for our midweek Lent worship service this Wednesday at 7 p.m. We will continue our look at the "Sounds of the Passion" by listening to the sound of the "Shouting Mob". Invite your friends and neighbors to join us for these special services.

Palm Sunday, April 1st, 9 a.m.
Maundy Thursday, April 5th, 7 p.m.
Good Friday, April 6th, 7 p.m.
Easter Sunrise, April 8th, 7 a.m.
All of these services with the exception of Good Friday will be Communion services. Please invite your friends, neighbors, and co workers to join us for these special services during the most important week of the church year, Holy Week.

Bible Study Continues You are invited to join us following our worship service each Sunday for our "Life of Jesus" Bible study. We are in our 3rd of 12 sessions studying the Parables of Jesus. Today, we are examining the Parable of the Prodigal Son. Bring your Bible to church with you each week and join us after the service as we study God's unchanging Word.

Midweek Lent Worship Services Continue You are invited to join us this Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of the North Prairie Lutheran Church for our midweek Lent worship service. We are continuing our midweek sermon series "Sounds of the Passion" as we listen to the sound of "Tramping Feet". Invite your friends and neighbors to join us for this special service.

Daylight Savings Time: Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour when you go to bed next Saturday, March 10th, as daylight savings time will begin at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 11th.

Holy Communion Next Sunday Due to the cancellation of services this week, Holy Communion will be celebrated next Sunday, March 11th.

Thank You Thank you to everyone in the area for your patience and understanding as events have needed to be cancelled the past two weeks due to the winter storms that hit our area. We are glad that God has spared our area from the extended power outages that have affected other areas of the state, and that everyone in our mission congregation is safe and sound.

Cancellation Reminder If services or other events at North Prairie need to be cancelled due to poor weather conditions or for other reasons, an announcement will be called into KIOW 107.3 FM, and if possible, posted to the congregation's website. Due to poor road conditions that still exist in parts of northern Iowa, Sunday worship services at North Prairie Lutheran Church have been cancelled for Sunday, March 4th. Please join us on Wednesday, March 7th at 7 p.m. at North Prairie for our midweek Lent worship service as we continue to ponder "The Sounds of the Passion."
