Effective next Sunday, January 7th, Bible study will be held on Sunday mornings, after the worship service, approximately 10:15 a.m. Bring your Bibles to church, and join us as we study God's word.
Pastor to Begin Part Time Employment Pastor Martin will begin a new part time job working in the office at the Super 8 Motel in Algona, Iowa this Thursday. He will be working evening shifts two or three nights per week, but will still be free for Sundays, Wednesdays, and other needs of the North Prairie congregation, such as funerals, emergencies, meetings, etc. It is hoped that as our congregation grows in the coming months, that our stewardship response will allow us to increase our Pastor's compensation package to where secular employment will not be necessary. If you have any questions about how this will effect pastoral care to our congregation, please contact the Pastor.
KIOW Broadcast Ends Due to the uncertainty about funding our North Prairie mission congregation will receive from the ELCM Mission Reserve Fund in 2007, and no sponsors have stepped forward to help with the costs of the radio ministry, our radio broadcast over KIOW will come to an end. It is hoped that with increased giving and attendance in 2007 that we will be able to resume the broadcast down the road. If you have any questions, please contact the Pastor.
