Summer Worship Time Change Beginning Sunday, May 7th, Sunday worship services at Beaver Creek will go back to our former 11 a.m. starting time due to summer Heritage Park activities and Pastor's hope of having a 2nd ELCM preaching station in another community in the coming months, per one of the stipulations of his Official Call as Mission Development Pastor for North Iowa through our ELCM Executive Board. If you have any questions or concerns about this time change, please contact Pastor Martin.
Pastor Out of Town Pastor and Lindsay Martin will be in Des Moines later this week for a short post-Easter vacation. They will leave Friday afternoon and return late Saturday night. If you should have an emergency that would require Pastor to return earlier than planned, you may call his cell phone at 641-494-4885. If there is no answer, please leave a message so he can get back to you as soon as possible.
E-Mail Solicitations While Pastor encourages you to pass along his contact information to congregations, small groups, or individuals wishing to learn more about ELCM or our mission congregation, his inbox has been flooded in recent weeks with solicitation emails from singers, drama groups, and companies wishing to push their programs on our congregation. In order to reduce the amount of these emails, please do not give Pastor's email addresses out to such individuals , groups or ministries. Thank you.-Pastor Martin
Wedding Guidelines 1st Draft A rough draft/outline of possible wedding guidelines for ELCM pastors serving our ELCM North Iowa Mission Parish are avaliable for you to read through or provide feedback. Members of Beaver Creek may request a copy of these guidelines to be emailed to them, and may then provide adequate feedback. Please take a few moments to do so, so we can have a working document in place and ready to approve in May.
