Worship with Holy Communion, 9 a.m.
Bible Class: 10:15 a.m.
Monday, February 19th: Pastor Work @ Algona, 3-9 a.m.
Wednesday, February 21st: Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday Worship with Holy Communion & Rite of Imposition of Ashes, 7 p.m.
Thursday, February 22nd: Pastor Work @ Algona, 3-9 p.m.
Saturday, February 24th: Pastor's Day Off
Sunday, February 25th: 1st Sunday in Lent
Worship Service: 9 a.m.
Bible Study: 10:15 a.m.
"Sounds of the Passion" Midweek Lent Series This Wednesday, we will begin our Lenten journey with our special Ash Wednesday worship service here at North Prairie, beginning at 7 p.m. This service will feature the traditional Rite of Imposition of Ashes and the sacrament of Holy Communion. We will also begin our midweek Lent sermon series entitled "Sounds of the Passion." We will begin this series by listening to the sound of "Ripping Cloth." Invite your friends and neighbors to come and worship with us during the Lenten season as we listen to and ponder the "Sounds of the Passion."
Bible Study Follows Worship Everyone is invited to join us for our weekly Bible Study which follows the worship service each Sunday morning. Be sure to bring your Bibles to church each week as we study God's Word together!
Interested in ELCM? If y ou know of individuals, families, a small group, or an existing congregation in the northern Iowa/southern Minnesota area that is interested in exploring ELCM as an option for an existing Lutheran congregation or forming an ELCM mission congregation, please put them in contact with our Pastor.
